Advertising agency Y&R, Bogota, Colombia, has created a smartphone app that transforms song frequencies into vibrations, allowing deaf people to feel the music even when they can’t hear it.

This app was created exclusively for the Cartagena Music Festival, who firmly believes that music is for everyone, even for those who may not be able to hear it.

How it works is that it transforms song frequencies into vibrations, so deaf people can feel the vibrations of their smartphones.

By doing so they have made music—a purely auditory experience—into one that everyone can enjoy together.
