A friend of Reddit user Not_A_Ninja found a message in a bottle while fishing.
Curious to know what the message contained, they opened the bottle and found a rolled piece of paper sealed with tape—in it was a letter from a man named Mel from California, who had recently passed on.
Mel, who once loved the ocean, requested those who found his message to go to his Facebook page, post a photo of themselves and where they found the bottle, before returning his message back to the sea for others to find.
