Iconic Paintings Impressively Recreated With Plasticine

Ukrainian artist Svetlana Postelga has created a lovely series of artworks that brings back childhood memories.

She uses plasticine, a children's toy, as a medium to recreate iconic paintings. She gets her inspiration from a huge book with paintings by famous artists, and recalls that her first work was based on The Last Day of Pompei painting by Karl Brullov.

Creating these plasticine artworks helps her forget her problems at work and to cope with her divorce.
