Designers Create An Interactive Installation With Hammocks For Arts Center

Mexican designers Héctor Esrawe and Ignacio Cadena recently worked together to design an interactive installation for the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta.

Called ‘Mi Casa, Your Casa’, the installation features more than 35 house-shaped metallic structures positioned around the Sifly Piazza.

The red frames also come with detachable hammocks and the center will be providing materials such as easels, chalk, buckets of bubbled water for visitors to interact with the environment.

According to Woodruff Arts Center, this project is part of their plan to “activate the Piazza and engage the community” and will be open to the public from 18 July till 2 November 2014.
