An Ice Cream That Changes Its Color As You Lick It

Spanish chef and physicist Manuel Linares has created an ice cream that will change color as you lick it.

The ice cream called “Xamaleón”, is made entirely with natural ingredients and tastes like a mixture of fruits—the baby blue ice cream is coated with a layer of “love elixir” before being served.

Linares explained that the color changes simply because of temperature and oxidation, but he will not be revealing how the process works as he hopes to patent the recipe.

He is now working on two other cool ice cream projects—one that will react to ultraviolet lights in clubs, and another that would turn from pink to completely white on its own.

Would you like to try his unconventional ice cream creations?
