Ronald McDonald Gets A Makeover, Has A New Outfit

Ronald’s new outfit

To keep up with the times, fast food giant McDonald's has given its iconic spokesclown a makeover.

Dropping his traditional yellow costume, Ronald McDonald is now decked out in a red blazer with a striped shirt underneath. He also gets a bow tie, but it was reported that he only wears it for “special occasions”.

According to AdAge, the new Ronald McDonald will play a bigger role in the company’s social media channels to promote the new “Fun makes great things happen” campaign.

The new wardrobe was designed by Tony award-winning theatrical designer Ann Hould-Ward. The last wardrobe update for Ronald came in 2005.

What do you think of his new outfit?
