After losing one too many lens caps while they were out shooting with their cameras, Toronto-based industrial designers Graham and Mike decided to find the solution to this common problem—they have since developed the HACKxTACK, the “world’s first magnetic lens cap holder”.
Based on a simple but brilliant idea, the HACKxTACK does not make use of any cutting-edge technology and is an innovative product that would make one wonder why it took so long for someone to come up with it.
Photographers would simply have to clip on the stylish holder—made of ethically sourced wood and stainless steel—and stick on an accompanying magnetic tab onto the lens cap to keep it close to them at all times when it is not in use. There would no longer be lost moments spent fiddling with bothersome pockets and straps when one could be capturing a great picture instead.
