Captivating Photographs Of Women Suspended Serenely Underwater

Being underwater for an extended period of time can be uncomfortable for many—but the women in the underwater shots by Belgium photographer Harry Fayt seem to feel right at home in the watery depths.

Focusing primarily on “aesthetic research related to the theme of water”, Fayt is himself very comfortable in water and have enjoyed being underwater since he was only four.

Like many other artists, he is fascinated with the beauty of the female form and has chosen to feature it in water—“a natural and vital component of life”—over and over in his photographic experiments.
