In his on-going street art project called ‘Rap Quotes’, artist Jay Shells turns selected rap lyrics into NYC site-specific street signs.
Shells first selects lyrics from rap songs that reference specific street corners and locations in NYC—after which, he creates the signs and installs them at their mentioned location.
