To promote its design department to its clients, Johannesburg, South Africa-based creative agency TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris decided to send back existing briefs that didn’t specifically require design services.

Using the cardboard job bags as the canvases, and the paper documents as raw materials, the design department created elaborate three-dimensional paper sculptures that capture the essence of the various brands—as a non-traditional answer to the brief.

From a dress shirt for Bio Classic washing powder, and a bowl of shredded paper noodles for Fatti & Moni’s pasta to the amazingly-detailed ship in a bottle for Mainstay vodka—the intricate paper art also featured snippets of text of the original briefs and demonstrated what the agency’s talented design department has to offer.
